Nine Years ago, Mark Basso and his partners had a dream of building a private race track where friends could share a common love for fast cars! The Autobahn, located in Joliet Illinois, allows car enthusiasts of all abilities to enjoy the use of a private race track 6 days a week (May-Nov). Some members are nationally renowned drivers (like Bobby Rahol), whereas others are just car aficionados who’ve only recently experienced life “on track”.
Mark wanted me to capture the fun members have “on” and “off” track and the welcoming community which allows car owners to safely learn better car handling skills. The images helped us develop a marketing program to attract new sports car owners.
